Welcome to the website of the Spanish Peaks Fire Department, and the Bon Carbo Fire Department, collectively known as the Spanish Peaks/Bon Carbo Fire Protection District.
While we are two individual and distinct Fire Departments, as one united Fire Protection District, we are dedicated to public safety and awareness. On the left, you will find links to both of the different Fire Departments that comprise the Spanish Peaks/Bon Carbo Fire Protection District. On each Fire Department's page, you will find links to important information such as how to obtain a burn permit, wildfire mitigation, how to become a volunteer firefighter, EMT, or auxiliary member, and disaster preparedness. We even have a blog, where you can find up to date information relating to public safety, events, and emergency information in your area.

Some of these subdivisions are in bordering areas between two different fire protection districts, so you will need to call the Bon Carbo Fire Department if you're curious as to which fire protection district serves your area.
